Another month older!

Its update time again! Babies are 6 months old and getting cuter and cuter by the second. We love watching their little personalities develop and seeing the world through their little eyes. Enjoy the video!

Here is a photo diary of our little Gwen and Gretta’s Blessing Day. My mom made their beautiful dresses from my wedding dress and I made the headbands from the scraps. I am obsessed with how beautiful they look, they are my “mini-brides”.

A baby blessing in the LDS church is when a priesthood holder (usually the father) takes a new baby and gives them a name and a blessing. The blessing consists of special promises for the child’s life. When I was little I used to think of it as when the fairies in Sleeping Beauty come and bestow their gifts on the baby princess. Haha.

We are so blessed to share this amazing day with so many friends and family.

These are some baby items that I found were not worth the hype, and then I’ve included some products that I prefer to them instead, including my mini review of the Boppy, Pack n Play, nipple pads and more!

Twins Gender Reveal Party

Seeing our babies for the first time.

Here is the video of our first ultrasound at 7 weeks. Watch our reaction to learning that our little baby is actually BABIES! We’re so thrilled and feel so blessed to finally be pregnant after years of trying, many failed infertility treatments, and our first round of IVF. This is truly a miracle.

Here’s the video of our transfer day! Thank you all so much for the support, prayers and love we have received during this journey. I have truly felt strengthened by everyone’s positive thoughts.

Confessions of an Infertile Woman

I admit. I still think I’m pregnant every month.
I admit. I never want to buy feminine hygiene products in bulk. (Because after all I won’t be using them for long right?)
I admit. I sometimes feel like commercials, magazine covers, pregnant women, etc. are all out to get me and make me feel lousy by constantly slapping me in the face with baby baby baby everywhere.
I admit. Sometimes I feel so alone even though there are millions of couples struggling with the same thing.
I admit. I have thought about stealing a baby. (But I would get caught…. Or would I?) ;-)
I admit. I believe I may have magical powers to get someone pregnant just by talking to them. Everytime I start to relate with someone TTC, they wind up pregnant the next day just by chance!!! “It just happened” is a phrase I can do without hearing again.
I admit. I have parked in the “Reserved for Expectant Mothers” parking spots.
I admit. I’ve carried a sack of flour, groceries, or watermelon on my hip like a baby and my heart sunk a little.
I admit. I’ve had my children’s names picked out since our second date.
I admit. I have a secret stash of baby clothes that I can’t help but buy.
I admit. When I have my niece out and people think she’s my daughter, I never correct them.
